What is Scooda?

Scooda is a local marketplace delivery platform that connects buyers with verified independent Scooder Drivers. When you find a large item — furniture, appliances, marketplace deals — and can't transport it yourself, Scooda handles the pickup and delivery to your home.

How much does delivery cost?

Pricing is calculated upfront based on distance, item type, vehicle required, and access factors like stairs. The minimum delivery starts at $50. You see your exact price before confirming — no hidden fees.

What can Scooda deliver?

Scooda delivers large items including furniture (sofas, beds, dressers, dining tables), appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers), and marketplace finds from Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, estate sales, and local retailers.

Can I schedule a delivery in advance?

Currently Scooda operates same-day and next-day delivery. Scheduled future deliveries are coming soon.

What if my item is damaged during delivery?

Every Scooda delivery includes Basic Delivery Protection at no extra cost, covering eligible damage claims up to $100. Claims must be filed within 48 hours with photo documentation.

How do I communicate with my Scooder Driver?

After a driver accepts your job, you'll receive their first name and can communicate through the Scooda platform. You'll also receive SMS and email updates at each stage.

How do I track my delivery?

You'll receive real-time updates via SMS and email: pickup confirmed, en route, and delivered.

What happens if the seller is unavailable at pickup?

Your Scooder Driver will attempt to contact the seller. If pickup cannot be completed, you won't be charged the full delivery fee. Contact support within 2 hours.

What if I need help carrying the item upstairs?

Select stairs during booking. For heavy items requiring a second person, select Two-Person Team for an additional fee.

Can I tip my driver?

Yes — you can add a tip at checkout or after delivery. 100% of tips go directly to your Scooder Driver.
