Scooda is operated by JayNona Enterprises ("we," "us," or "our"). Our platform at ScoodaNow.com connects buyers, sellers, and Scooder Drivers for large-item local marketplace deliveries. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.

Delivery Information: Pickup and dropoff addresses, item descriptions, and delivery preferences.

Driver Information: Vehicle details, driver's license, insurance documentation, and payout account information for Scooder Drivers.

Payment Information: Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We retain transaction records including amounts, dates, and Stripe transaction IDs.

Location Data: Delivery addresses and approximate service area ZIP codes.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and device information to improve our platform.

Photos: Pickup and delivery photos uploaded by Scooder Drivers as proof of delivery.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Facilitate delivery bookings and match buyers with Scooder Drivers
Process payments and issue driver payouts via Stripe
Send delivery status updates and notifications via email and SMS
Verify driver identities and maintain platform safety
Provide customer support and resolve disputes
Improve our platform and develop new features
Send service-related communications (not marketing without consent)

4. SMS Notifications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Scooda including delivery status updates and account notifications. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out, reply STOP to any SMS. To get help, reply HELP or email support@scoodanow.com.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

Between users: Buyers see Scooder first name, rating, and vehicle info. Sellers see delivery status.
Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Supabase: Database infrastructure. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Twilio: SMS delivery. Subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy.
Law enforcement: When required by law or to protect safety.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. We never store raw payment card numbers.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@scoodanow.com. Account deletion removes your profile and personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and platform functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Scooda is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of Scooda after changes constitutes acceptance.
